One of the most valuable skills in life is being able to get your story across to others, and this week at The Narrative Loft, Strategic Samurai taught people just that by holding a speaking workshop. The two-day Road To The Red Circle Speaking Workshop event was led by speaking strategist and host Kymberlee Weil. As a speaking specialist who has coached over 100 TED Talk speakers, Weil taught attendees how to enhance their ability to speak to an audience. With the addition of live performance specialist Alan Irwin, together they honed in on how to captivate an audience and make complex subject material accessible. The third member of the team, Sandi Zabarsky, focused on teaching flow and transitions in speaking. The three worked together to enhance speaking skills from content to performance, and ultimately to teach how to speak without notes.
After exhausting their mouths with their new speaking skills, attendees took a break to treat their tastebuds to custom food creations by Mark Sylvester. And what a treat it was! Check out the recipes here.
