Fortunately 240 Studio is large enough to accomodate everyone on set including the Art director, 1st and 2nd Camera Assistants, Tech Editor, Stylist, Make up artist, production assistants and graphic artist were on set.

When I first walked into the raw space of 240 I freaked out. The walls and floor radiated warmth and the 20' ceilings gave me the height I needed to shoot several set ups in one day. We've brought in sand for a beach and snow for the holidays and the walls all have a subtle glow that photographs beautifully under the gorgeous northern light. We've installed blackout shades for the 24 windows and sky light, but I've never had to use them when working with my Norman studio strobe lights.

Kelly Kirlin shoots Samantha at 240 Studio in Santa Barbara. We had to sneak her in the back door down by the storage faciliity to get around the paparazzi outside. Sam's a natural talent and Kelly made it all happen in SB. Who needs to deal with LA when the talent comes up to SB ;) ?
