Trick or treat? Happy Halloween!

It's frightful Friday and All Hollow's Eve is upon us. Whether your plans for the weekend include tricks, treats, or a bit of both, Halloween is a celebration everyone can appreciate. The sun sits lower in the sky and the days become shorter. The mornings are brisk and the nights become perfect cuddle weather. It's that time when fall hued flowers and pumpkin spice everything take over our markets. It may not mark the beginning of fall, but when it comes around here in Santa Barbara we know to let our tight grasp on summer finally go. Around the world it marks a sacred time in which families, communities and societies remember and celebrate their deceased. To many though Halloween is a pastime full of joy and shenanigans. It's a time when grown men can dress up as their favorite superhero and no one can say anything about it. Halloween is the best day of the year for those little ones with a big sweet tooth. And no one can deny a night spent carving pumpkins or watching a favorite scary flick. No matter what your plans are to celebrate this wicked holiday, The Narrative Loft crew wishes you a safe and spectacular Halloween!
