Lights, camera, action! What an impressive skill it is to be able to act! Starting in January, The Narrative became home to The Actor's Lab Santa Barbara location. The Actor's Lab is one of the top acting schools in the country, known for coaching actors, writers and directors, many who have made it to stardom! J.D. Lewis, an acclaimed actor in many films across the globe, founded the company and is now the Artistic Director. You may recognize him from his guest roles in Friends, L.A. Law, or Suddenly Susan! Lewis uses the skills he gained in the industry and combined with his incredible coaching efforts, he instills his wisdom in his students.
The Actor's Lab named The Narrative its new home for Thursday nights. Each week, Lewis will be teaching his Master Class in our creative space. In addition to Scene Study and Cold Reading Class, each participant will be put on an individualized business plan to help network and target agents in the field. With Lewis' infectious energy and immense experience, these actors are in the best hands possible!
