We’re not sure about you, but this winter in Santa Barbara has been cold- like, really cold- and it’s making us want to stay in bed, curled up under the covers with a cup of hot cocoa.

Tying the knot in a place that's close to home and close to the heart escalates a ceremony to another plane of romance. Newlyweds Megan and Adrian did just that by saying I do right down the road from their lovely abode, at Cold Springs Tavern, a place the couple has frequented over the years.
On a sunny August day Ricky and Kimberly brought even more of their own sunshine to this celebration. From the plethora of sunflowers to their constantly smiling faces, the atmosphere of the loft was happy and bright. This darling couple called each other sweeties for thirteen years before tying the knot. To acknowledge this special number there were thirteen tables, and table cards were of movies they have seen every year together since they've been a couple. Too cute!
Welcome to this beautiful family reunion to celebrate and honor the love of Glen and Marissa. Family and friends pitched in for the entire set-up to make this dream a reality. A glamourous backdrop for the bride and groom was rented from Red Carpet Photo Shoot. Vony's Party Rentals provided tables and chairs while Jolly Jumps brought the fun with their bouncy house. Kids and adults alike were entertained and bounced off their food comas (otherwise known as Polynesian paralysis). Most of the food including a traditional Lechon or slow-roasted pig, Filipino style was prepared by family members while Chinese food was catered by Mandarin Palace.
Sending this lovely couple all the happiness in the world! Witnessing their love was truly special, and seeing them so enamored with each other after nine years together was beautiful. If you have a weakness for all things Japanese, this celebration might make your heart skip a beat. Sweet touches like anime place cards, origami cranes and toasts were made with sake of course!
This occasion perfectly highlighted the love of two high school sweethearts. Their love burns bright as ever, growing stronger each and every day. Tyler and Jessica's celebration was a true family affair. A big shoutout to the groom's mother Jaimie, for organizing the entire night and making the loft dreamy with her decorations. The space was full of darling details like personalized mason jars for each person, loads of framed photos, pretty signage and little potted plants. In an ode to their family's roots, the celebration had rustic touches and plenty of Southern charm.
TaRell and Kalyse's reception was an absolute blast with guests dancing to songs hand-picked by the bride and groom. This was a true celebration or shall we say party of love. There was plenty of laughing, dancing, smiling, joking, eating and drinking! However in an ode to the traditional, the bouquet and garter were thrown for a lucky man and woman to anticipate their own turn walking down the aisle. Classic Party Rentals transformed the loft into a classic reception space while local favorite, Mony's Taqueria filled guests tummies from their taco truck. Sweet wedding wishes, Mr. and Mrs. Jackson!
Ah, the beginning of June— the cusp between spring and summer. The first taste of summer has been savored with it's seemingly endless days and the comforting warmth of the sun upon one's skin. Bright. Inviting. Exciting. Optimistic. A time for shedding layers, literally and figuratively. A time of year to look forward to. The most symbolic season of the year in regards to marriage. Even though June can be finicky here in Santa Barbara, with unpredictable fog. Jessica and Jared burned right through the marine layer with their love. Burning bright and intensely like the summer sun.

From local couples to out-of-town destination weddingers, the Santa Barbara event industry is thriving. Not to mention the numerous talented and creative event professionals that call this area home. Plus countless other venues, caterers, planners and musicians like our girl DJ Darla Bea A.K.A. our "Queen Event Coordinator."
When two people tie-the-knot they make a vow to take on life's adventures side by side. For this lovely reception the bride and groom utilized our surround sound Sonos system with a hand-picked playlist for the big day! During dinner music by John Williams, composer of the scores from Star Wars, Jaws, Indiana Jones and many more played in the background. Tamara's Catering kept stomachs happy with a build your own burrito station.
Check out this darling DIY wedding. The bride and groom made their wedding pop with personal details they created themselves. Twinkling string lights, handmade table cards, and personalized M&M's as their names are Michelle and Mark! DJ's California Catering provided scrumptious handcrafted food for the 95 guests and Patrick Butler Entertainment kept everyone's feet a moving.
There is something so enchanting and romantic about a winter wedding. Having it right before Christmas when the entire world seems a glow makes it even more charming. With all the hustle and bustle of the holidays it's hard to imagine the stress of planning a wedding this time of year, but this couple and their family pulled it off beautifully!
