Ah, the beginning of June— the cusp between spring and summer. The first taste of summer has been savored with it's seemingly endless days and the comforting warmth of the sun upon one's skin. Bright. Inviting. Exciting. Optimistic. A time for shedding layers, literally and figuratively. A time of year to look forward to. The most symbolic season of the year in regards to marriage. Even though June can be finicky here in Santa Barbara, with unpredictable fog. Jessica and Jared burned right through the marine layer with their love. Burning bright and intensely like the summer sun.
AppFolio Kickoff Dinner
Everyone was dressed to impress for AppFolio's kick-off party that launched a week of fun events for the group. The dreamy decor was not far behind in style points as Bella Vista Designs transformed the space with string lights, silk drapery and white paper lanterns, a match made in heaven with our timber beams and floors. The cool vibe transcended to every inch of the loft, especially the lounge area which Town and Country decked with a classy couch set. Omni Catering warmed guests souls with their signature grilled-cheese sandwiches before bringing out the food coma sealer, a build your own ice cream sandwich station! Thresholds
When we create we embark on true self-exploration! Santa Barbara artist, costume designer, and creativity coach Kirsten Gold is all about reaching these new facets of yourself through creativity. Her pop-up art gallery called Thresholds: A Woman Birthing Herself was an interactive and engaging event. Her work features gorgeously crafted collages and mixed media creations, pieces and parts of art that have been recycled into new artwork at the helm of her loving hands.

When two people tie-the-knot they make a vow to take on life's adventures side by side. For this lovely reception the bride and groom utilized our surround sound Sonos system with a hand-picked playlist for the big day! During dinner music by John Williams, composer of the scores from Star Wars, Jaws, Indiana Jones and many more played in the background. Tamara's Catering kept stomachs happy with a build your own burrito station.
