On the Verge of something awesome!

on the verge santa barbara

A theater company that utilizes local unconventional spaces, produces bold theatrical pieces, and works to bring theatre to people and places that wouldn't ordinarily get to experience this type of art. Now that is On the Verge. And they're onto something great!

Based on a 2012 study done by the Theatre Communications Group, audience's nationwide are getting older. On the Verge is on a mission to make changes to the status quo. They are stoked to create unique, original and exciting productions with the 16-30 age range in mind. Using their diverse group of professional actors, directors, writers and artists all with strong roots in the Santa Barbara community they aim to engage local dialogue and involvement.  With over twenty of the company's members under the age of thirty, you can expect fresh interesting pieces that young people can relate to.

The Narrative Loft is so excited to be one of the venues of this year's On the Verge festival. Check out onthevergefest.org for more info about each production, show times, and to reserve your seat!!
