An intimate evening at Narrative Loft celebrating Santa Barbara’s wedding community through elevated design, meaningful connection, and unforgettable shared experiences.

The Emerge x Santa Barbara Wedding intimate dinner at Narrative Loft celebrated what makes Santa Barbara’s wedding and events community special: connection, creativity, and collaboration rooted in heart.

Hosted by Emerge Event Collective and orchestrated by Zohe Felici of Santa Barbara Wedding, the evening brought together local Santa Barbara talent alongside Emerge’s national network of luxury wedding and event professionals. Guests arrived via Jump on the Schoolbus and entered a cocktail hour surrounded by bold, globally inspired design that set the tone for an immersive dining experience.

As the evening progressed, guests gathered at the table to share stories, ideas, and conversation over a thoughtfully curated dinner, drinks, and dessert. Each element, from rentals and linens to florals, lighting, and interactive entertainment, reflected a shared belief in community over competition. Live music and dancing added rhythm to the night and carried the experience forward.

More than a dinner, the event served as a reminder of the power of bringing people together with intention. It honored the relationships that drive the wedding industry, highlighted local vendors who shape Santa Barbara’s creative scene, and reinforced Emerge’s mission to foster meaningful connections within the luxury event space.

The night unfolded like a well told story: layered, collaborative, and full of heart, leaving guests inspired long after the final chapter closed.

There is a pull-out resource guide (a sort of YellowPages- wedding edition) featuring yours truly. Plus countless other venues, caterers, planners and musicians like our girl DJ Darla Bea A.K.A. our "Queen Event Coordinator."

That's a wrap! The second edition of TEDx Santa Barbara Live went off without a hitch. Once a year, the greatest movers and shakers of our time bring their bright ideas to a live audience on the TED stage. The chance to get a seat in that live audience is slim picking. Luckily the production team of TEDx Santa Barbara Live is on a mission to bring that experience to our local community. It was an action-packed two days, with people coming and going during the live simulcast from Vancouver. We are so happy to have been the host location for the second year in a row, another fantastic event in the books. We can't wait for next year!

Pop up wine and beer dinner!

Our friends at Ventura Rental Party Center and Seasons Catering hosted a rad pop up wine and beer dinner. It was a night full of good company, great drinks and fantastic food. The event featured local wine from Tooth & Nail Winery as well as beer from Surf Brewery. It was a five course dinner, with delicious food crafted by Seasons Catering. They are making it a monthly occasion, with one hopefully taking place here at The Narrative sometime soon. Stay tuned!

The world is feasting, drinking and celebrating the last day before Lent, a period of fasting that ends the day before Easter. Meanwhile here at the loft, a group of lovely ladies, including some Narrative staff were getting their hearts pumping instead of their stomachs.
