David is an internationally renowned chiropath who recently moved to Santa Barbara to begin his new practice, located The Narrative Loft!
A spooktacular ending to a spectacular day for bride and groom Jamie and Jon. After tying the knot at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum, the whole entourage changed into their Halloween best, hopped on Jump on The School Bus and boogied their way to the loft for some late night shenanigans.
The first stop on this love parade was El Capitan Beach for a striking fall sunset ceremony complete with beautiful ukulele accompaniment by Chris Wooley. As another gorgeous Santa Barbara sun set beyond the horizon, the bunch made their way to our space, The Narrative Loft.
Watching the sunrise on a rooftop in Santa Barbara. Breakfast at Breakfast Culture Club, the hottest new joint in town. A party at a supercool loft space with your closest friends and family by your side and you have a recipe for one of the best days ever.
From the milk and cookie station, to the heavenly blooms scattered about, everything little thing about Sara and Anthony's celebration has us head over heels. Day of coordinators Jennifer and Natasha from Swoon California wowed with their attention to detail. After the bride and groom said their vows looking out over the Santa Barbara Harbor at Santa Barbara City College the whole party jumped on Santa Barbara Trolley Company 's trolley and made their way to The Narrative. They boogied the night away to beats from DJ Darla Bea, sipped on hand-crafted delights from The Good Lion and no Santa Barbara party is complete without.
Some days love will burn so intensely everything around it will catch fire. Mostly it will be a blissful seventy-five and sunny and true love will always endure. Congratulations Lindsay and Edward may your love continue to grow from here to eternity. This celebration of love was absolutely stunning with the help from a stellar group of vendors. Friend of the bride, Julie Alexander stepped up as day-of-coordinator to make this special day run smoothly. Amigo Party Rentals created the rustic atmosphere with their gorgeous full-length wood tables and Becky of Haute Blossoms adorned them with her floral masterpieces adding a romantic flair. Adding to the fun of the evening were amazing bartenders Jude and Travis from Top Shelf Events making the party go off without a hitch!
The bride and groom pulled together to create the center-pieces and a photo booth. But here is the pinnacle of a DIY wedding, Doreen made her own dress. Yes, you heard that right. That gorgeous dress you see was stitched by the bride herself. As if the months leading up to a wedding isn't stressful enough, props girl!
The celebration marked the joining of two families into one and the night couldn't have happened without the support of the bride and grooms' loved ones. It was a true family affair with kids running around putting smiles on faces. Everyone pulled together to make this rehearsal night special! Bravo to Mike, the groom's father and uncle for preparing a full Italian spread for dinner and to Roberta, the groom's mom for creating a beautiful event down to the last detail.
As Toad & Co. joins us once again for their regular photoshoot, we wanted to switch it up and highlight a crucial part of their production team. Their make-up artistry master and beauty doctor, Tomiko Taft. She has worked for Toad & Co. on all their studio photography projects, but her skill and expertise expands far beyond catalog shoots. Fashion editorials, the silver screen or the music industry to weddings and personal celebrity clients.
Can you believe we are almost a third of the way through 2016? Neither can we. Over the last three and a half months we have had the most fantastic events here to date! It is an absolute blast seeing the variety of events taking place here and we have crafted our space with that exact idea in mind. Spring has sprung, its time for love! The sun, shining. The air, warm. The couple, madly in love. After tying the knot at the Santa Barbara Courthouse our most recent wedding party continued their celebration here at The Narrative. From the florals to the linen, this reception was a breath of spring. Brenda from Gatherings for Good planned this day of love, with a portion of the event fees going to charity. So awesome! Our friends over at Bella Vista Designs and Amigo Party Rentals created a gorgeous backdrop for the evening.
Valentine's Day is here and love is in the air! We wish a joyous v-day to all the wonderful couples that chose our space as the setting for a chapter in their own love stories and for included us in such a special day of their lives. While we can't send a bouquet of red roses to every bride and groom that have walked through our door.
